Wedding Videography
FAQs
Got questions about your wedding video?

Why should we hire Sea of Love Film as our Melbourne wedding videographer?
We create cinematic, story-driven wedding films that feel natural and authentic — no awkward posing, no cookie-cutter edits. With years of experience filming weddings across Melbourne and Victoria, we know how to capture genuine emotion, stunning venues, and the small details that make your day unique.
Do you offer wedding videography outside Melbourne?
Yes. While we’re based in Melbourne, we also film weddings on the Mornington Peninsula, in the Yarra Valley, regional Victoria, and interstate. Destination wedding videography is also available.
How much does a Melbourne wedding video cost?
Our Melbourne wedding videography packages vary depending on coverage hours, number of videographers, and style of film. Packages typically start at $5,000 + taxes — contact us for a customised quote based on your wedding plans.
What’s included in your wedding videography packages?
Most packages include full-day coverage, professional audio recording, cinematic editing, drone footage (where permitted), a highlights film, and a longer documentary-style video.
How long will it take to receive our wedding video?
You’ll receive your final films within 6–8 weeks. We take time to ensure your wedding video is edited to a high standard so it feels timeless and personal. Don't worry, you'll receive a social preview for sharing the week after your wedding
Can we request specific shots or styles?
Absolutely. We’ll meet with you before the wedding to discuss your vision, must-have shots, and preferred style — whether it’s relaxed, cinematic, or something more editorial.
Do you work with wedding photographers?
Yes. We regularly work alongside Melbourne wedding photographers, ensuring a smooth, coordinated approach so you get the best from both photo and video.
What’s the difference between a highlights film and a full-length wedding video?
A highlights film is a 3–7 minute cinematic video set to music, telling the story of your wedding day in a short, emotional format. A full-length film includes more extended coverage of your ceremony, speeches, and special moments.
Will our wedding video include audio from the ceremony and speeches?
Yes. We capture high-quality audio from your ceremony and speeches, and can incorporate it into both your highlights and full-length films.
What’s the difference between “selects sequence” and “raw footage”?
The “selects sequence” is a carefully crafted edit featuring the most cinematic and meaningful moments, colour graded and laid out in chronological order. It usually runs between 30mins to 1hour and includes all the beautiful B-roll, but leaves out speeches and the ceremony. In contrast, “raw footage” contains every clip recorded on your wedding day, unedited and in its original flat ‘LOG’ format. These files are large and unpolished, requiring colour grading and editing before they’re ready to watch.
